How do I ignore a category in budgeting?

I have a certain category of transactions that I do not want to include in tracking/budgeting. They are automatically downloaded and assigned an to an appropriate category. I have not budgeted for this category, nor have I included it in my budget. However, the transactions continue to show up in my budget report. How can I fix this?

You mentioned that the category is not included in the budget. I would double check this: not so much for the category itself, but see if this category is part of a Parent:Child (i.e. sub category.)
You might not include a sub category in your budget, but if the parent is, then the budget will track it.
That is all I can speculate based on the limited information here.6

Thanks~that is probably what is happening. Too bad it works that way, but now I have a possible work-around.0
