Restoring files
Colin1942
I want to restore files containing one year's worth of accounts onto another computer that already has some of the entries. Will restoring the complete data recognise the duplicates and eliminate them ?

File restore is an all or nothing proposition. The data completely overwrites the existing file, or you can create separate files, but there is no way to combine them.

How do I import/export a Quicken Transfer Format (.QXF) file?

Be advised, the QXF file import process into Quicken for Windows does not work 100% reliably.
