My new HP Envy Photo 7855 will not print checks, reports it prints

My printer will not print checks.

Have you done FILE, Printer Setup, For Printing Checks since you got the new printer?

The printer makes a noise like it's going to print, then nothing, the que is empty.

And, have you double-checked that, in Printer Setup, you selected the correct paper source (as, these days, most printers have 2 ways to get paper into action).

Yes, I've done the file-printersetup-printing checks. I've shut my printer down and restarted it, no luck.

So what, exactly is happening?  Any error messages or codes?

And how is your HP printer attached to you PC?  Hardwire? Wireless? Via a network?

When I checked the setup closer I saw if said (Photo) I change to (Main) thanks for all your help.
