How do I retrieve missing data?

When opening Quicken I got an "Oops error in opening" . I exited and reopened and found 1st page of program and all my data sack to 3/30/2016 missing. I have a Seagate backup but all my data is missing from that also. How do I retrieve this information?

Have you checked the BACKUP folder for any backups?

C:\Users\<Username>\Documents\Quicken\BACKUP
