Community: CC-501 and CC-898 error - August 21 Update Problem - What Should We Do?

It's been about a week now without a solution to the problem in the subject line. What should we do?
1. Just wait for a patch?
2. Uninstall version R21.16 and install previous version?
3. If action in number (2.) above where can the previous version be downloaded from?

Premier Version: R19.5 Build: 26.1.19.5
Installed on my Windows 7 machine. Both Transaction Download and Sync are now working. On to reverting on my Windows 10 Laptop next.
Question (1): What's to keep R21.16 from updating when I click on Update to download new transactions?
Question (2): I didn't see an update for Quicken 2019 prior to the R21.16. Is there one and if so where?
