Associating checks with register check numbers different in Quicken 2019?

Question

Until a month ago, I was using Quicken 2016.  I loaded my checks upside down into the printer, meaning that the highest number check printed first.  The check numbers showed up in the register correctly after printing.  However, I switched to Quicken 2019 and I load the checks the same way into the printer.  However, the check numbers and register entries now get mismatched.  Is there some kind of setting I am missing?
