Validation not fixing data recovery issue
WINKLDL1
Quicken suggesting to validate and repair file to "fix" missing data after recent patch DOES NOT fix missing data. I lost 10+ years of transactional data from Bank, Investment, property and credit accounts. Since Quicken sale, it's been one issue after another. Not living up to Intuits previous standards apparently.

Validation can only resolve some data file corruption. Have you considered restoring your data file back to before your issue?

Was following instructions per Quicken Alert. Was hoping to avoid going back to backup file and having to recreate many, many transactions. Not a big deal, just thought I'd pass on that "their fix" was in fact, not a fix at all.
