What to do if previously reconciled transaction suddenly shows up as unreconciled?

I apologize in advance if this is not the correct category for posting this question, and I did try to search for an answer prior to posting.

I'm using Quicken for Mac 2017.

I last reconciled my personal checking account in June of 2019.

When I tried to reconcile in July, I noticed there was a transaction from 9/5/18 showing as unreconciled. I don't know how this could possibly happen when I have successfully been reconciling each month.

I think this happened after I connected my Quicken account to my bank.

Can anyone try to assist me please? I don't know how to move forward now. I have been reconciling my statement to the bank balance, but not to Quicken. I am now two months behind. I did not enter any new transactions after I could not reconcile for July.

I've thought of entering an adjustment transaction, but didn't want to take a chance of making the problem worse.

If this transaction is supposed to be reconciled, and isn't, then hold down the Option key while clicking on the cleared checkbox icon (in the Cleared column)

Holding down option will allow you to toggle through uncleared, cleared, and reconciled. That way you can force this transaction as being reconciled and move on.
