Suggestion for Savings Goals

But that's the WHOLE purpose of Saving Goals ... so that it appears that you've already spent the money and don't spend it on something else.

BTW, are you aware that when you Reconcile the account, the funds will re-appear so that you CAN reconcile?  And then vanish once more when the reconcile is done.

For what you're asking, just don't use Savings Goals.
