how to do mass category change from a report

I started using Quicken Mac in 1992 and have continued to use the same file through each upgrade, even switching to Windows for period of time and then later back to Mac. So, with many accounts and categories created over the years I would like to be able to do a mass change of transactions and update categories so that I can streamline them for better reporting.
I know I can go into each account register and select multiple transactions to update a category. This isn't a practical solution in my scenario because there are over 100 accounts (many closed and hidden now, but still need them for reporting).
When I run a full report of all accounts, all dates, all categories I would like to be able to select groupings of, or separate, line items and make the changes from the reporting screen en masse. Possible? Doesn't seem so. Is there another way?

The answer is "sort of". If you go to the All Transactions register at the top of the sidebar, you can work on multiple accounts at the same time. You use the filters and search box to narrow down the transactions displayed, then use the menu File > Get Info to change a selected set of transactions en mass.
The gotcha's are:
1. You will need to temporarily unhide any accounts you want included here, and
2. File > Get Info doesn't work inside split transactions. Those have to be done one-by-one.Quicken Mac Subscription; Quicken Mac user since the early 90s5
