credit card auto pay entry

Question

When I enter my credit card payment on my Bank Account register, it is not showing up in the Credit Card register.  Although it will not be paid until later in the month, shouldn't it show up in the linked account?

Date entered:  when it is due to automatically pay
 Payee entered: my credit card company
 Category:  Transfer [credit card name, credit card last four]
 Payment:  amount owed for the month

Thanks, RickO.  Think I was leaving out the colon. :/   That fixed it.
