credit card auto pay entry

When I enter my credit card payment on my Bank Account register, it is not showing up in the Credit Card register. Although it will not be paid until later in the month, shouldn't it show up in the linked account?

Date entered: when it is due to automatically pay
Payee entered: my credit card company
Category: Transfer [credit card name, credit card last four]
Payment: amount owed for the month

If you are using the square bracket notation in the Category field to designate the transfer, it needs to be formatted exactly like this:

Transfer:[exact-account-name-only]   (including the colon)

Alternatively, use Menu View > Columns to turn on the Transfer column and enter the credit card account in that field.

Thanks, RickO. Think I was leaving out the colon. :/ That fixed it.
