Accidentally entered the wrong date for rent received. How do I delete or edit the transaction?

Entered the wrong date accidentally showing a rent payment 2 months in the future (not received).  Asking how to delete or edit the transaction to the correct date?

Try going to the account that the rent will post to and change the date there.  Also, if you made a receipt then view receipt and see if you can change the date there for the receipt.
