Why can't date and payee follow the splits in a transaction report?
Linda K Turner
It is tedious to copy the date/payee to each blank line to get the report so it can be sorted and then get it back to the original report with every transaction complete.

If you're interested in seeing a report which shows transaction detail, with complete information for each split, have you tried the
Itemized Categories report
, updated to show transaction detail?
That will show you the transactions or splits sorted and subtotaled for each category.

It looks like it will work...I've used Quicken since it's early days and obviously have missed features available. Thank you.
