Why does Firefox not show hyperlink results properly?

I keep getting the following message. Anybody know why this might be happening?
Firefox is default browser & is running at the time of Quicken Help menu hyperlink select.
"Firefox is already running, but is not responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing Firefox process, or restart your system."

Problem solved.
I had two versions of Firefox installed & had the older version selected as default.
Changed default to newer version, deleted the older one and all works as advertised ......
so, operator error!

Note: seems to work as advertised if default browser is switched to Chrome

Please describe your step by step process to get to the problem. Because I run FF also, and don't believe that I've experienced what you're describing.
