Do you allow OneDrive, Dropbox or any other cloud backup software to access your active Quicken data file?
If so, that's most likely your problem. Configure your cloud backup software so that it does NOT access the active data file while Quicken is running. Instead, set up Quicken to create backups every time you close Quicken and send the Manual Backup file to a folder that's processed by cloud backup.
