How to transfer funds

When I attempt to transfer funds between accounts there is no Account Action icon nor does the list of accounts appear at the bottom of the Category list. What am I missing?

Do you want to make the transfer actually happen at your bank or just trying to enter a transfer into quicken?

Just type the other account name in for the category and put it in square brackets like [Checking] to indicate it is a transfer. Or the newer versions of Quicken might have a Transfer column. 

Or there is a "Transfer Money" selection on the Actions list (gear icon) in the non-investment accounts. Or you can just hit Ctrl+Shift+T to open the Transfer box.

That might just be for Windows.  I don't know Mac.
