Any way to top a budget line?

Hi,
Is there eventually any way to actually top a budget line at the end of the month?
Something like if you have a "Food" line for $600 a month. If you come to the end of the month, and you still have $150 remaining then the new month would top $450, not roll $600 on this line, ending up with $750?
Can this be done?
Thanks for any help
Steve

The current budget in Quicken 2020 for Mac (5.13) still is based on beginning anew the first of each month. So, no, you can't adjust the time-frame to match your pay period.5

What you are referring to is a "rollover" type budget. And no, Quicken for Mac does not offer rollover budgets. The budget goal always resets to that month's goal on the first. Preceding months have no impact on this.

Hi,
Asking for years, so coming back to my question...
Has Quicken eventually implemented a way to set a budget fill/rollover date other than the first of the month?
For people who get paid twice a month, or for, say, people who get their check on the 26th of the month...
Not everybody gets paid on the last day or first day of the month...
Thanks for any clarification.
