ofx/qfx file names: is there a maximum length?

Is there a limit to the length of the file name, such that after that limit it is "too long to be imported into quickbooks"?

You should try asking this in the QB forum.  This forum is exclusively for Quicken.

  • Thank you @NotACPA

I made an unfortunate typo, I meant to ask about Quicken

    For Example: Julian 2020.qdf
And when you do a Manual Backup with Add Date function:
    Z:\Quicken Backup\Julian 2020-2020-01-14.QDF-backup

I would suggest that the file names AND the sub-dir path NOT have any spaces.
    Quicken gets weird sometimes....
    No space Example: Julian-2020.qdf

    Hi @ps56k ,

Microsoft fixed the problem. Used to be a problem, but no longer.
