I can't enter investment transaction because my security name is not showing in menu
1Bruce
In an investment account when I select Enter Transactions some (4) of my securities are not auto populating in the Security Name pull down menu. The securities in question are not hidden in the Accounts or Security List areas of the software.
This is new in the last couple of weeks after a software patch. I have run Validate and Repair on the data file with no luck. Any suggestions?

What is the "Security Type" associated with each security? (Edit Security Details) It should be something other than "Market Index" if it is a tradeable security

What are the 4 securities and/or symbols - NOT hidden at the bottom -
EDIT - also updated topic title to better reflect the actual Q&A

Changing the four accounts from a market index to a mutual fund corrected the problem. I don't know how this got changed. Thanks for the help.
