Managing Sent Invoices

How do I keep track of which invoices I have, and have not, emailed to clients?

If your sending an invoice from within Quicken, in the Email Preview form, there is a checkbox option to send yourself a copy. Image 1. Have you used this option to track your sent invoices via your email client?
When sending an invoice from within Quicken, I don't believe there is currently an option to see an "email sent" indicator either in the "Customer Invoices" register or the "print invoices" table. Image 2. I've not seen one at least!
Frankly, I've never gotten the "send invoice" feature to work, so I simply print the invoice to the Microsoft Print to PDF printer driver, safe it off to my account receivable folder for that client, attach it to a pre-formatted email, and send.
How do you do this today?

Yes, I have used the "Send me a copy" option. I didn't use it for tracking purposes, rather, I used it to see what Quicken was actually sending.
What I've been doing: Each time I email an invoice, I enter a comment in the "Memo" field (ex: "Sent 1/23").
