Why BEEP ?

Something about Quicken bothers me, however minorly, maybe? I want to Duplicate a transaction. But when I strike [Command]+D to do-so, then Quicken beeps-once. :-( That is all it does.
When I type [Command]+D Again right-away, the transaction _is_ duplicated. :-)
I wonder this, please? Maybe this behavior by Quicken is symptom of a larger problem? Thank you.

I don't believe it to be a symptom of larger problem. It does this the first time you launch Quicken and your first transaction is to duplicate. After the first system alert sound, it doesn't do it again until you quit/relaunch Quicken. It doesn't do it, either, if you have been doing other things such as manually entering a transaction.
It has been filed as a bug in the past. For whatever reason (not being a critical problem or perhaps complicated to fix), it lives on.6
