how to upload older statements in .QFX format in an existing account (on a mac).

I only found help on how to enter transactions, one by one. . I want to upload statements to create a one year baseline. Thanks

Importing is the easy part: you can File:Import:From Bank or Brokerage File:
Alternatively, you can drag the QFX file to any open Quicken window or Dock icon.
In all cases, point (link) the file to your desired account you want the transactions in. Your opening balance adjustment should automatically adjust to maintain the correct final running balance.
Your biggest obstacle is whether your bank actually provides the historical data as not all do. Some will even walk you through the steps, but provide an empty transaction file. Your milage may vary.5

Thanks, somehow, had not thought of the ‘import’ function. Spent a lot of time on this.... The dragging did not seem to work. Milou0

What would you recommend if you follow these steps with a Citibank QFX file that gives the error "Unable to read the selected Web Connect file. Please contact your financial institution."0
