Formatting check printing

I used Quicken years ago, but after a decade away I'm using it again. I don't know how to format check for printing, e.g., how to print the memo line in the proper place. There must be simple pulldown menus for this, but I can't find them.

Which version of Q Mac are you using?
US or Canadian checks / cheques? What style checks are you using? The memo line printing low on your checks is an often discussed situation. Some want it to print low, so it doesn't show in the window envelope. Others don't seem to care or use window envelopes where the window is placed higher up. Search the Community and you'll find a number of discussions on that matter. Please watch this video about printing checks in Q Mac 2015 (or newer) for more information. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8tZAqDb0o4&t=115s

Thanks for the helpful information! Back in the day, when people wrote checks more frequently, I used window envelopes—and I remember the occasional problem, e.g., of account numbers, written in the memo line, showing in the window. But since we pay so many bills online these days, I've foregone window envelopes. So I can write the "memo" information at the bottom of that cell in which one would type the payee's address.0
