Sometimes the transaction download system messes up the Payee in a transaction.
Two things to do in this situation:
1) Select the downloaded transaction in the register. Then press Command-Option-i to open the Transactions Inspector (also available from the menus as "Show Inspector").
In the Inspector, look for the Statement Payee line under the heading From your financial institution.
2) Log in to the bank's website and find the transaction in the transaction history for the account.
Either of these procedures will allow you to discover the original Payee recorded by the bank.
Optionally, in preferences, select the Connected Services tab. Under the heading Downloaded Transactions, unchecking the option "Automatically improve the quality of downloaded payee names and categories" will allow the original Payee name to be downloaded unaltered.Quicken Mac Subscription • macOS Monterey 12.6 on MacBook Pro 13" M15
