What is the "auto-adjust" option in the new QuickFill rules supposed to do?

The new QuickFill rules interface has an option to "auto-adjust" a split; however, not matter what I choose, it doesn't seem to save. It will reset back to the bottom row (indicating total: not sure?) when I open it back up again. I can't find any information about this option anywhere.

If the total amount of future transactions (downloaded) is different than what the QuickFill amount is setup for (in your case, $132.35), the child line you mark as "Auto-Adjust" will adjust to make sure the total is correct instead of adding an adjusting split child line as it would in the past.

OK, I suspected that might have been the case. Is it a bug then that the row in the split does not seem to actually save?0

They did note in beta for this release that they were working on new split logic (auto-adjust) that they hadn't finalized, so I suspect it is not polished at this point.0
