I have the same problem. On my budget, it shows that I am over budget on the top bar (where it shows spending and savings). None of my categories are over budget so why does it keep showing the alert?

Do you have budget actions > View Options > "Show Cents" unchecked? If you have this option unchecked, and are over budget in a category by between .01 and .49 cents then the category will be over budget by pennies, but if not showing "cents" then will look to be on budget.

I am truly amazed! No one has mentioned this fix before. I have a green check mark for the first time ever (and I've used Quicken a long time)! Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my question.
