Installing and Updating (Windows)
Cannot install because system says the old version needs to be uninstalled.

When I go to the Control Panel, Quicken is not listed so I can uninstall.

Usually the newer version will automatically UN-install the older version.
What version are you attempting to install....
You can also use this - to clean out old versions of Quicken -
