How do I link a checking account to an investment account?

In previous versions of Quicken Windows, I could easily link a checking account to one of my investment accounts. I don't see the way to do this in this latest version for Mac.

The Mac version of Quicken does not allow linked checking accounts. That doesn't mean you can't still continue to use your investment account as a checking account, though. The key difference is that your cash transactions will have to use the transaction Type "Payment/Deposit."
You might find that adding more "checkbook" like columns (such as check number, category, etc.) will make your account more familiar. You can print checks from an investment register. You can also reconcile the cash balance.
