After validating, which one is the original file and which the corrected one?

Quicken Deluxe desktop in Windows 10.

After validating, there is a validate folder that contains a quicken qdf data file and there is the one placed where it originally was.

Which is the untouched one before the validate corrections?

The file in the VALIDATE folder is the original pre-validation file, saved as a backup.
