Quicken Classic for Mac
Paying Bills, eBills & Scheduled Transactions (Mac)
How does one END a schedule transaction?
pcrtyan5
In Quicken 2007 (stop laughing) I was able to set a start and end date for a scheduled transaction. In Mac 2020 (Version 5.15.1 (Build 515.32947.100)) the edit schedule only offers frequency options. (Weekly - Annual - etc.)
Sorry for such a lame question.

Oh, this option exists in Q Mac 2020, too, but it was sort of hidden by the programmers. On the same panel where you set up the frequency there's a little triangle which you can click. It expands and adds a few extra lines to the screen. One of them is about setting an End after [xx] transactions or End on [date].

See the attached screenshots for the Edit dialog for a scheduled transaction.
Click on the arrow icon to get a menu for additional parameters.
The developers have cleverly hidden this info.

Thank you both very much! I can now retire and not see my bank mysteriously increase week by week!
