Where are my older transactions, after upgrade?

I upgraded to Quicken MAC 2020. After I connected to the bank and updated my account it only shows transactions for this year and December of 2019. How do I get my older transactions from the rest of 2019?

    I upgraded from 2017. There was not an option to import. Did I miss that opportunity. I have a back up but when I click on it, expecting it to open in the new program...nothing happens.
