How to move Quicken data from old Mac to new MacBook

I purchased a new MacBook Air and downloaded most recent version of Quicken. However, I utilize Quicken on my old Mac and have not entered anything on the new computer. Not sure how to get started as my data is on the old computer. Thanks. Brian

Assuming you're running the same version on both computer, make a backup of your file on the old computer. Move that file to the new computer using a thumb drive, file share (eg Dropbox) or any other method that works for you. Double click the backup to restore it on the new computer.
