How do I reregister Quicken Deluxe 2009 after a reinstall.

I had to reinstall Quicken Deluxe 2009 on my desktop after a hard drive crash. It reinstalled ok but I am not able to register it. I know this version is no longer supported but it is all I need from a financial software product. Is there a work about for this issue?

Do LEFT Shift+Ctrl when clicking Tools->One Step Update

After you installed it did you update it?  One of the SuperUsers has posted the update patches for older versions (2000 and newer) of Quicken

And your problem with that is???
There is NO WAY to register QW2009, so the described process stops Q from asking.  If you did it to subscription, shame on you for trying something that is not intended for your version.
Do you usually point a loaded rifle at your foot and pull the trigger?

Thanks for all the help. I have installed the latest update for Quicken Deluxe 2009. I used the method described by Splasher. It worked perfectly. Thanks again.
