Thank you for attempting the steps and posting back with the results, although I apologize that they did not resolve the discrepancy for you.
You may consider entering an adjustment transaction to zero out the reconcile. This is the last step listed in the Support Article and is meant to be used when all other options have been exhausted.

Hello @Paul
Thank you for reaching out on the community and telling us about your issue. Generally when you have a positive balance on a credit card it's caused by there being an extra payment in the register. I would double check the transactions and see if any of them seem out of ordinary.
I would also recommend looking at our support article here for more information about reconciling as well.
