Some register fonts will appear darker than others. I suggest you select
Edit > Preferences...

Thank you. Your suggestion was very good. I am now using Verdana Bold. It looks much better.

Try using print in grey tone instead of color from the page that comes up from your printer with printer settings. My printer prints blacker when I have print in Grey tone selected instead of print in color.
