will my quicken home and business 2017 R 19.8 stop working/

I have been using this ver for a while and some one told me it will expire and quit working. How do I check on this the build is 26.1.19.8

First - you should not use your email address as your user name, because this website is available to the general public and spammers can see your information.
Second - if you are using "build 26.1.19.8" you are actually using Quicken 2017, and yes this version will change effective April 30, 2020. It will no longer allow for downloads from financial institutions and your Quicken program will no longer be updated by Quicken. But it will not "quit working" because:
a) your data file will not change and will always be accessible to you;
b) you may continue to use the software but will need to update is "manually" because (as noted above) your uploads and downloads from banks, brokerages, credit cards, and other financial institutions will no longer work.
c) most of the "functionality" of the program will continue to be usable.
You do have the option to move to the "subscription" version of Quicken which is fully described at this link
