Updates downloaded but not installed

I have Mac Quicken Deluxe 2020 version 15.5.2 (Build 515.33015.100). When I start Quicken I get an alert to update to version 15.5.3. I've chosen to install the update several times and after the download the software is not updated. The About Quicken box shows version 15.5.2 and the next time I start Quicken I get the alert again. How can I assure that the update is done?

    Never mind. I just tried again and the software was updated. I may not have seen and responded properly to the dialog box to install and relaunch Quicken.
