File Conversion and Backup (Mac)
Category and subcategories did not transfer
lhodges@
Moved from Windows Premier 2019 to Mac Premier2020. Categories and subcategories did not transfer to the Mac using the backup. Other place on the instructions says to use a *.QDF file (export) file. What's the difference? And most importantly, how to I get all my personalized categories and subcategories moved to the Mac?

Your categories (and subs) should transfer. Yes, you want to use your regular .qdf file.
Your categories might still be there: In QMac, I would go into Quicken:Preferences and choose to show the Long names. By default, it is set to show only the short (lowest sub) used for the transaction, and this might be causing confusion.
