I cannot log on and update to my bank of America using quicken. Said cannot find server

I am getting An error occured during your online banking update. Bank of American-All other states is not responding. Please try again later. A server with the specified hostname could not be found. However, The bank I can access from their website online. I cannot get any of my accounts to work using quicken. I need to do this.

    Thank you for reaching out on the community and telling us about your issue. Do you know if you're selecting direct connect or quicken connect when you're connecting? Also do any other banks have any issues when connecting?

     Direct connect only supports grandfathered users so if you are using that one I would advise to try quicken connect and see how that goes.

    I converted from the direct connect on my account to quicken connect. I had quicken connect for years now. When I went through the procedures, first it wouldn't recognize Bank of America. I had to get the verification code three times. and reluctantly connected . There is definitely something that isn't working with your servers. Tomorrow I should have updates to my accounts. I am going to let things rest for a day or two and then see if it works, but there is definitely something wrong with either the software or with how your program connects with their servers. I do recall that we had my wife connected via quicken connect, the passwords kept crashing after a few days because that option kept polling the bank manytimes generating an possible breach. Do fix it. Don't assume it is me. Software should be able to be accessed each and every time , however this is a problem, perhaps with the last update for mac.

    Are you by any chance using a VPN while attempting to download transactions?
    If so, try turning it off.

    If you haven't done so already, I'd say it's time to call Quicken Support on the phone and request help.  Let them do a screen share session with you to review a download log file on your computer, to determine the nature of the problem and to figure out how to fix it.
