Erase Memo/Notes field for all transactions in an account (Q Mac)

I recently transferred investment transactions from one account to a new account. Quicken incorrectly populated the memo/notes field with "Transfer shares from IRA - lot X of 199 where X is a number but based on the date of the transaction the X is the wrong #. Since it's wrong, I'd rather remove the text in all transactions. Is there a way to do this without doing it manually for each transaction?
I know I can hide the field but I don't want to do that because new downloaded transactions will have valid comments.

You can.
- Make a Backup for this data file
- Go into the selected account
- Command+A to select all transactions (or select all the transactions for which you want to blank the memo field)
- Hit command+e to go into edit mode
- Click the checkbox next to the Memo field, and leave the field blank
- Click OK and the blank field will be saved across all selected transactions
