Is anyone else unable to open investing accounts?

When i run one step update all of my accounts are updated without problem. However, I am unable to *open* any of my investing accounts. When I click on an investing account a Quicken Update Status window opens which says "connecting..." and then it freezes. The "Stop Update" button is unresponsive.

This is what I've tried so far:
-made sure I'm using the most recent quicken version
-restored a backup to see if the backup worked correctly (it didn't)
-resetting the account. Was unable to reset because there were transactions which needed to be accepted first.
-validated and repaired the file
-ran a super validate on the file

All my other accounts are good. Just the investment accounts cannot be opened (whether there are new transactions or not).

I ended up reinstalling the software. Working now!

Accessing an investment account should not trigger a connecting dialog unless you have price updates set to on.

That does not address your issue, but hopefully you can at least get the investment register open to investigate further. If that does not help, I would go back further in the backups to see if if could be data related.
