How Do I Add Monthly Subtotals to a Spending Report Which Covers a year?

Hi. I'm using Quicken Windows for family finances. I create reports which show our spending in various categories, such as restaurants, gas, etc. I would like to add monthly subtotals, so I can see how much our spending at restaurants changes month to month over the course of a year. I don't see option on the Report, Display Tab to turn that function on.
Is there a way that I can do that?
Thanks,
John

Have you tried the Spending By Category report and selecting the option for monthly columns?

Thanks Bob. That certainly did the trick!!
Now if I can be picky, do you know of a way for the report to be vertical (itemized categories) vs. horizontal (spending by category). It would just make my formatting easier, being portrait vs landscape, but your was certainly works.0 -
No, not that I know of, and it would get pretty long very quickly.Quicken Premier Subscription, Windows 10 Home0
