Downloaded security does not show up in Portfolio view

A recent download from my financial institution is not showing the security in the Portfolio view. I reviewed the security from "Window/Securities" and confirmed the symbol is correct in the Details, but the "Currently Held" column is not checked for this security. How can this be activated?

Likely a Placeholder transaction is offsetting your downloaded transaction.
Some brokerage FIs push out the acquisition transaction before updating your total holdings, so Quicken (as it dutifully should) creates an offsetting transaction to make the reported holdings correct.
Scroll to the beginning of your register; I suspect you will find a light gray transaction removing your position. While you can delete this now for immediate satisfaction, I suggest you wait a download or two until the brokerage updates their info.
In either case, your position should then show up in the Portfolio view.5
