Paying Bills, eBills & Scheduled Transactions (Mac)
Loan Transactions

i have a loan that was setup sometime ago. One of the items in the loan was a warranty that I recently canceled. When the refund was processed, it was applied directly to the loan. Since this was applied directly how do I record it since there is not a corresponding transaction in my checking register to offset the refund as a payment.

In Windows you can make an entry and put in the same loan account as a transfer for the category. You transfer it back to the same account. Then it won't go anywhere. That makes it one sided. Hope that makes sense and is clear. It's hard to explain. Don't know if Mac is the same.
