I no longer need the Rental/Property Manager version of my expiring Quicken 2014. Will a renewal now with a new Premier version update my existing data files correctly? Thanks.

Yes, you should be able to without issue. With that said, You have chosen to manually update your transactions. If that is something you want to continue, there is no reason to upgrade to the subscription version. This is primarily for continued access to bank downloads. If you do not need all the features of your current version, you can deselect the tabs that make them visible and ignore the rental aspect.
