duplicate accounts

So everything was going great and yesterday I opened my quicken and noticed that all of my banking and credit card ACCOUNTS were duplicated with the same name but a (2) next to it. It totally messed up all of my balances by thousands of dollars. I started deleting the (2) accounts as they showed no activity, just the balance and everything went crazy with credit card payments for years messing up the balances. Unfortunately i tried to reconcile a few but had to alter balances. How do I get it back to the original. It shows conflicted back up error.

    Thank you for reaching out on the community and telling us about your issue. In this case the easiest way to get back would be to load a backup. Quicken automatically saves backups that we hopefully can pull from. I recommend following the article here if you're unsure how to load a backup.
