Known Issue: How do I eliminate transaction category on a split transaction?

I have windows 10 platform with Quicken Deluxe R26.17 build 27.1.26.17
I am importing a .QIF file with a split. For example -
D
T100.00
SCategory/Tag 1
$50
SCategory/Tag 2
$50
Quicken is adding a 'L' category and tag with the category and tag from first split. As a result, reports list the second split as Tag1:Tag2 which is a particularly problematic for reports by Tag. you can see this 'L' category by exporting the file - the exported .QIF for same transaction above shows up as -
D
T100
LCategory/Tag 1
SCategory/Tag 1
$50
SCategory/Tag 2
$50
to troubleshoot a bit further - i added the split through register rather than through import.
The reports are all good. And when it is exported to a .QIF file. It shows up without the 'L' category; that is,
D
T100
SCategory/Tag 1
$50
SCategory/Tag 2
$50

Hello @badgeley.1
Thank you for taking the time to visit the Community to post your issue, although I apologize that you haven't received a response.
I was able to successfully recreate this issue on my Quicken, I see the "LCategory", as well as the tag, being applied to all lines of the split.
I have reported this issue and will respond back as soon as I have more details.
Thank you!

Thank you Tyka - I look forward to your follow-up. I have come up with a workaround that I working for me at the moment. If I make the Split items first and the overall payee, total, and L category last, then the import does not corrupt the splits.1
