Current Month Budget Amount - Prorated?
kevinkaley
Say I put in a monthly (Jan to Dec) budget amount of $100. I look at the year and in all months except the current month, it shows $100. For the current month, it shows a prorated amount, such as 100/31=3.22 3.22x7=$22.58 as the budget amount. I can't find a setting to change that. Other than looking at a prior or future month, is there a way to show the whole actual budget amount for the current month?

Yes, if you're looking at the
Current Budget
printable report, this month's budget is prorated based on Today's Date.
Use the
Historical Budget
printable report instead. It doesn't do that.
When viewing the Budget (Planning tab, Budgets view) and using the
Annual view
instead of the Graph View (requires Deluxe or higher edition level) you can also see the full amount and not a prorated amount for this month.

Thanks UKR, excellent answer.

You can customize the Current Budget printable report by setting the end date to 12/31/2020. At the top of the report for Date Range select Custom Dates and set it for 1/1/2020 to 12/31/2020.

Thanks Snowman, that works too.
