How do I add a tag to a split transaction?

Considering the COVID-19 pandemic, I created a COVID-19 tag. Is there a reason why I can’t add tags to split transactions?
For example, in the attached screen shot—PenFed is a split transaction whereas I track principal and interest separately. If you notice, in the Tags column, the word “Split” appears. This prohibits me from adding the COVID-19 tag that I created to this transaction.
As an FYI – the transaction in question appeared in my search results as I have added COVID-19 in the Memo/Notes column.
Any suggestions?

You can add Tags to splits, but they have to be attached to the individual split lines. To do this, double click the transaction to edit it, and you will see that you can enter different tags for each split line. Referring to this screen shot:
Split transactions restrict the Category, Tag and Transfer fields to only the individual split lines and not top line which is shown when the transaction is collapsed. On the other hand, the Action and Memo/Notes fields can have different values for the split lines vs the top (summary) line. The Date and Payee fields only exist on the top line since they always apply to the entire transaction. Finally, the Amount value on the top line is the total which the Amount values on the splits lines are the amounts of each split.Quicken Mac Subscription; Quicken Mac user since the early 90s5
