You might start by clicking on Holdings in the account and comparing the securities, share counts, share prices, and cash balance if any to the website.
Also, go to Edit > Preferences > Investment Transactions and make sure "Show hidden transactions" is checked, so that you will be able to see any Placeholders in the account.

Thanks for your help - I did a bunch of entries to adjust the number of shares. It have been a while since I had looked. Hopefully it will stay up to speed from here.
